Removal is where nail health is protected

Clients remember removal. Luxury removal feels safe, calm, and pain-free.

1) Two safe removal approaches (beginner overview)

Option A: Soak-off (full removal)

Best when you need to remove acrylic completely.

Requires patience, proper wrap, and gentle push-off.

Option B: Reduce-down (service transition)

Best when you’re moving into a new set/overlay and don’t need full removal.

File down bulk safely and leave a thin, smooth base (only if there’s no lifting/greenies and policy allows).

2) The golden rules

Time over force.

Never pry or peel.

If it hurts, stop and reassess (pressure/grit/technique).

3) Beginner-safe soak-off steps

Sanitize + assess (any broken skin, lifting, discoloration?).

Shorten length (clip/cut bulk safely).

File top coat/seal + reduce bulk (don’t file the nail plate).

Apply acetone wrap (cotton + foil) with full coverage.

Wait recommended time.

Gently push off softened product (no digging).

Re-wrap stubborn areas.

Light buff if needed + oil + aftercare.

Assess for lifting/infection risk.
